out of 10 id give these a 7. very cheap however quite thin, so they can break. the glue however is super strong.

HELLOFRESH Singapore noodles with kicking chilli

so there was a couple of bits missing from my box, a lime & turmiric for this recipe. luckily i had some termiric in the cupboard so that was ok.

this was super simple to make, and tasted super yummy.

NOTD primark £1 polka dot falsies

I picked these up as they were near the till in primark and at £1 they looked worth a try. the glue actually seems really good (most cheap glue i find a bit crappy.) their quite short length which i find great as if their too long their a cretin to type with.

i think next time i'm bargain hunting il grab a few sets of these falsies.

NOTD: outdoorgirl blue

I recieved this in a swap and finally got round to trying it out.

Colour is bluePB116

coverage looks slightly odd as has been applied over illmasqus gold glitter (i was too lazy to remove it before hand)

its super shiny in real life, but its one of those polishes that highlight every flaw in your nails as you can see, but i think all sparkly polishes do that.

REVIEW; Collagen Crystal Eye Mask

so i bought these;   for about £2.50 for 15 posted so wasnt really expecting much. (ye of little faith LOL) and bloody hell, their awesome! now anyone who knows me and make up, knows i love all sorts of korean fancy random bits and bobs. underneath is the seller speal how to use product;

Usage:
1. Cleanse and thoroughly dry your face.
2. After opening thre foil package and peel off the plastic liner. For the best result, use the eye mask immediately after opening the foil package.
3. Wear the Eye mask for about 30 minutes.
4.The Eye mask will gradually dissolve under body temperature and permeate quickly into the skin.
5. Remove the facial make gently. Do not reuse the facial mask and no rinsing is required after use.

these masks are perfect as not only do they look absolutly stupid when their on your face so you get a good giggle out of them, but they also feel like a goldfish too (well what i remember a goldfish to feel like...i rarely molest fish. HONEST)

These masks are like freezing cold wet things (oh look at my technical terms!) and you put them on tired eyes, which especially for Princess Jenny when she leaves work at 10pm these are a super lifesaving product, their so soothing, and relaxing.

So id deffo reccomend them; just remember with all cheap (in fact any beauty product) to poke them about a bit before throwing them on your face in case of allergies

Second hello fresh box

this weeks 3 meal box contains ingredients to make; Singapore fried noodles with chicken, Handmade spagetti & beef meatballs & Aubogine al fungetto (sp?) with chicken. Also 7 free bars of dark chocolate :) *i don't know if its the same every week with hello fresh? but the last 2 weeks i've got a little freebie from some indie type company- Last weeks was energy drinks.

The one thing i love about hello fresh is the sheer amount of herbs ect you get; and noodles, Look at that massive pack of noodles for 1 meal. thats easily enough for 3/4 meals (and i eat a lot of noodles)in fact their so generous with portions, i can make a few meals out of ''one'' but as i'm on my own, i half all the portions anyway.

This month there were a couple of ingredients missing, but thats not to bad as they were things i had in my store cupboard anyway. But if you ring hello fresh, i believe they post out bits that are missing on the rare occasion they miss something out.

All veggies are fresh and nice; i've never cooked with aubegine before; the things massive?!

Anyway; if you want a box use my code at checkout (this will give you £20 of your first box, which is pretty snazzy) XBJ24Q

NOTD Étude house ice cream nails

HELLO FRESH ; chicken Milanese with broccoli & toasted almonds

This was my second meal from postal food brand, hello fresh. This is an italian? Themed chicken dish, made of essentially handmade breadcrumbed chicken fillets with a vegetable side. As  you can see again, all ingredents are provided in little baggies.

Again was super easy too cook, and i have lots of creme freshe left to find something to do with :P i was plesently surprised how the breadcrumbs actually stuck to the chicken.  Again my only issue was lack of veggies with this yummy meal. I like my veggies as im a bunny :)

Today's charity shop and peacocks haul

so many of you girlys know i love two things more than beauty and food; Vintage stuff & bargains. Hence my favorite shops to nose around in are charity shops & antique shops.

First i got this vintage Italian woven & mock tortoiseshell handle bag, for wait for it...£3 utter bargain <3

In another charity shop i picked up 2 vintage beaded necklaces for 50p each , and in peacocks this lovely ring (£2 in sale) , and 60s style earrings (£1).

Also in peacocks this gorgeous 60s style shift dress, a steal at £15 in the sale. (was £25 originally) So it would have been rude to say no. this will be perfect for my summer wardrobe.

And this vintage wool suit i think 1970's, handmade in canada (in the label) a steal at ...wait for it £2.75   who can turn down a suit for the price of a costa?! I think i would either wear this as separates  or with high boots. Its much longer than anything id normally go for but i kinda like it.

And finally these arran aromatics bath salts, a bargain at £1.49 (the cheapest i can find for them online is £10) so very good bargain! the scent is after the rain, and it is quite floral and smells divine.

Ordered new exciting Korean Nailpolishes

so today i've treated myself to some awesome looking polishes after seeing some great NOTD pics on blogs. All these were found on Ebay.co.uk from Korean make up sellers.

First is this from Etude House's ''dear my party'' range called BOOM BOOM BOOM. this cost me £3.83 including postage from Korea, and the website promises to send ''free samples with orders'' so hopefully will get something exciting. This polish looks an utter bargain.

The second cost me £2.97 and is in the shade ''lemon sherbert'' OBV the yellow one in the pic. These come in amazing ice cream shaped bottles. These look similar to the very sought after ''speckle'' polishes at the moment.

And again from the ''dear my party range'' Pyjama party, a nice blue shade. this only cost me £3.22 as i bought it from a different seller.

So what do you think? il keep updated when they come :D

HELLOFRESH; ginger beef stirfry with asparagus & balsami rice

today was my first hello fresh meal, and as it had the shortest sell by date (the 6th, so had a few days still) , i chose to make the Beef dish. The first picture is of all the ingredients laid out, as you can see very good quality produce. The little tubs are oyster sauce & cornflower. The asparagus is really fresh, and smells divine. the steak itself is massive!, i can easily get 3 MEALS FOR MYSELF out of this piece of steak without scrimping. please excuse the fact i am only using a steak knife to cut it, the meat is so tender, i didn't need a sharper knife :D

I added some fresh mushrooms to the dish as they were sitting in my fridge, and i always like to have mushrooms with an oriental dish :) (thats my one gripe with hello fresh, usually i'l have a few different veggies with my meals and hello fresh seem to just have 1)

The meal was very quick and easy to prepare, and tasted delicious (see finished pics below)the smell of the ginger and galic cooking was divine, and the meat had a gorgeous taste and texture, that only butchers meat seems to have.

First hello fresh box :)

I'm currently taking a break from beauty boxes, so I've been spending my pennies on food related bits and bobs recently, as i always feel food is less of a luxury item, i feel less guilty spending money on it, as it never feels like a waste of money.

Today i got my first box from Hello Fresh =] as you all may know i'm a bit of a secret foodie, and love trying the latest thing (i'm also subscribed to a monthly artisan food box Flavourly) But hello Fresh is a totally different concept.

Hello fresh Pricing Structure;
3-Meal Box for 2 – £39 (Vegetarian option available)
3-Meal Box for 4 – £59 (Vegetarian option available)
3-Meal Box for 6 – £89 (Vegetarian option available)
5-Meal Box for 2 – £49
5-Meal Box for 4 – £89
5-Meal Box for 6 – £129

I chose the 3 meals for 2 people box. For £39 a week, you get 3 days food for 2 people, all measured out for you to the exact tea, so all you have to do is chop and cook :D but as a single pringle one of these boxes can easily do me a whole week, (especially as all the meats fresh so can easily keep 48 hours once the packets opened :)  halving the ingredients & you get these pretty nifty little recipe cards which you can collect so you can do the meals again.

this box is ideal for me, although i'm skipping next weeks, as 1) i don't eat potato so i tend not to do dishes that need to change the main base, and 2) cooking fish is a big no-no for me. However i will be getting a box again very soon as i'm so impressed with the service! I got a phone call from a lovely lady to tell me my box wasn't coming today as the courier was having issues, and she was really happy because my box had already come so that was a nice surprise (silly couriers) :D Also i got 2 free cans of Alibi drinks (which i've never tried before) so that was a lovely surprise :D

Another thing i noticed was the amount of food i got was very generous. I got a whole bottle of milk (only 100ml needed for recipe) and a whole pot of creme freshe (only half a cup needed) so you get stuff you can reuse.

Also all the meat is from real butchers, and veg from greengrocers. Its not your tesco value type stuff, its truly good quality produce. ^^

I haven't taken many photos as i'm going to focus on taking photos of the meals when i do them, but i have taken one of the yummy steak i got in the box, you can see the quality just looking at it :D, i'm cooking the beef dish tomorrow so stay tuned for updates :)
